Meet Scott Green

You need a magician who understands and helps achieve your goals, and with his white collar background and dedicated experience in magic, Scott is your partner in accomplishing the impossible.

A CAREER BUILT ON TRUST AND EXPERTISE

Scott graduated cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2009 and passed the Bar. But he knew entertaining was in his blood, so instead of lawyering, he gave himself one last shot at magi. He started at the very bottom as a street performer on Michigan Avenue in downtown Chicago. That gamble on himself has paid off. Since then, he’s performed thousands of shows for major corporations, trade organizations, and universities.

His credits include Penn & Teller: Fool Us, The Steve Harvey Show, The Magic Castle in Hollywood, The Second City, and a residency as Team Magician for the Chicago Bulls, plus too many appearances on Chicago television to count.

He’s also a talented stand-up comedian who keeps sharp at Zanies, Laugh Factory, and The Second City in Chicago. He’s been an invited performer at comedy festivals across North America.

AN INDUSTRY LEADER

In 2017, Scott published Excellence in Family Magic, an industry bestseller now found in the libraries of magicians including David Copperfield, Lance Burton, and Teller of Penn & Teller. He’s also a frequent keynote speaker at magic conventions worldwide, teaching other performers how to elevate their craft.

ADAPTIVE CREATIVITY

When live events paused in March 2020, Scott created his Magic Show In A Box, a groundbreaking Zoom experience where every ticketholder receives a mystery package to open during the performance. One by one, the items inside make magic happen in the audience’s hands.

The show became a hit with corporate clients, brought back the interactive energy audiences craved, and even allowed Scott to employ out-of-work magicians to assemble the boxes.

PERSONAL

Scott lives in Chicago’s North Center neighborhood with his wife, 12-year-old son, and 10-year-old daughter.

Away from the stage, he’s a ranked competitive pinball player with a collection of eight machines; maintains a New York Times consecutive day crossword streak dating back to 2018; and has been a contestant on five TV game shows, including Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? and The Price Is Right.
